Hello,
For those of you who do not know, Bailey Simons, 11th grade Rootstown, student passed away last night in a car accident. During this difficult time, we need to work together to support the family, students, staff, and community. I thank you in advance for your support.
To begin that process, we will be having a community gathering night at in the HS gym. The goal is to just provide a place for the Rootstown family to be together.
On Tuesday, we will have many professionals present in the HS to assist with the grief counseling.
Also, we will be cancelling the 9th grade testing for Tuesday, but will proceed with the testing for the elementary and middle schools
Please keep Bailey’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
